Bus service

For the audience from outside Bilbao, ABAO has direct buses from the main cities. It is a free return trip for members. The price for the general public from each city can be checked on the table.

Food and drink

Consumption of food and drink is not allowed inside the Auditorium. Euskalduna Bilbao has various cafés which cater for all members of the public. They serve both before performances and during intervals.

Recording and photographs

Any kind of filming or recording is expressly prohibited inside the Auditorium.

Cloakroom service

There is a free cloakroom service at various points in Euskalduna Bilbao. Moreover, since umbrellas cannot be taken into the Auditorium, there are umbrella stands with a security system next to the entrance doors

Seating for the disabled

Euskalduna Bilbao has 8 spaces for people who require a wheelchair, situated behind boxes 3 and 4, equipped with elevating platforms; as well as two other spaces at each end of row 6 in the stalls

Playbill

The play bill contains a brief summary of the plot of each act of the opera, as well as the curriculum of each of those who take part in the performance. It is free for members and costs €5 for the general public.

Children

There are booster seats for children. They can be requested at the various cloakrooms.

Punctuality

Once the performance has started, the doors to access the Auditorium will remain closed until the first interval. Latecomers will be able to follow the opera in the television room situated next to the Jauregia café or on the television screen in the café itself.

Usherette service

On performance days in Euskalduna Bilbao, the ABAO hires the service of usherettes, who provide information to attendees regarding access to their seats and try to resolve any issues that may arise.

Surtitling

There is a surtitle projection system with texts in Spanish and Basque language.

Mobile phones

Members of the audience are requested to disconnect their mobile phones before entering the hall.
