Biography: He has been Deputy Director and Programme Manager for Radio 2 (RNE), member of the Serious Music Experts Group of the European Broadcasting Union, Coordinator of the RTVE Symphony Orchestra and Editor of Teatro Real. He has produced radio programmes for the BBC and is the author of numerous articles and monographs, the book Bach (1995) and the Spanish version of the New Harvard Dictionary of Music. He usually prepares the subtitles in Spanish for the Royal Opera House, the English National Opera and the Digital Concert Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He is an editor and music critic for Revista de Libros, music critic for El País and co-director, together with Tabea Zimmermann, of the Chamber Music Festival of the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn.

Biography: Musicologist and journalist for RTVE’s Radio Clasica since 2008. She has presented programmes such as Té para Tres, Grandes Ciclos, Música Viva or Estudio 206. At present she directs, together with Clara Sanchez, the magazine Café Zimmermann, with interviews and live music performances, as well as the programme on contemporary culture Miramondo Multiplo, together with José Luis Besada. She presents the RTVE Symphony Orchestra and Choir concerts in Los conciertos de La 2 as well as operas in El Palco, in addition to other broadcast musical events. She collaborates in music magazines, regularly writes programme notes for the major music institutions, presents concerts, gives conferences, acts as moderator or participant in round tables and presents classical music records.

Biography: Journalist and writer. He Works for El Confidencial digital newspaper and usually takes part in different broadcasting and audiovisual media, such as Onda Cero, Antena3 and La Sexta. He has published several books on different topics, such as research on the secrets of El Prado (Temas de Hoy 1997), Plácido Domingo’s biography, Un Coloso en el Teatro del Mundo (Planeta 2012) or El Triunvirato: Carreras, Domingo y Pavarotti, Cuando la Opera Llena Estadios (Temas de Hoy 1996). Sangre, Poesía y Pasión: Dos Siglos de Música, Ruido y Silencio en el Teatro Real (Alianza Editorial 2018).

Biografía: Doctor en Historia del Arte y Musicología por la Universidad de Zaragoza, es profesor del Departamento de Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad de La Rioja donde imparte las asignaturas de interpretación, dramaturgia y discología en el Máster Universitario en Musicología. Ha publicado artículos y monografías en diferentes revistas y editoriales especializadas, y ha sido colaborador en las ediciones revisadas del New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians y del Oxford Companion to Music. Además de su labor docente e investigadora, mantiene una importante actividad como crítico y divulgador musical. Escribe crítica y opinión sobre música clásica en el diario El País y una columna de grabaciones en la revista Scherzo, donde también publica el blog “Canon alla rovescia”.

Biography: Composer and conductor. He has been director of the Nürnberg Symphony, the Gran Canaria Philharmonic, the Seville Symphony and artistic director of the Maestranza of Seville. He regularly conducts important orchestras on prestigious international stages. Of his successes as a composer, the versions of Wagner and Ullmann stand out, as well as twenty of his own works. He has recordings for the Deutsche Grammophon, Warner Music and Warner Classics labels. He is a member of the Royal Academy of BBAA of Santa Isabel de Hungary of Seville.
