PRESENTATION
A renewed version of The Piper of Hamelin opens the season in October with an opera, with music by I帽igo Casal铆, based on the popular fairy tale by the Grimm Brothers, for six singers, two choirs and orchestra. Using the techniques of a musical, the action is really fast paced, showing different scenes through which the characters pass. Full of humour, Navarre Chamber Opera鈥檚 proposal moves from the tale to the story, to discuss topics such as treason, lies, kindness and nobility through songs, music, lighting and stage design.

SYNOPSIS
An opera based on the popular tale by the Grimm Brothers, for six singers, two choirs and orchestra. It takes us to the world of Hamelin, a place tormented by the presence of rats.
