SYNOPSIS
Musical adaptation of the opera by Xavier Montsalvatge, one of the most relevant 20th Century Spanish composers, for piano, five singers and a dancer, based on the traditional tale of the same name by the French writer Charles Perrault.
The story is about a miller鈥檚 son who receives a simple cat as his only inheritance. What he doesn鈥檛 know is that, in fact, it is an extraordinary cat that can talk and will turn him into the Marquis of Carabas.
This show, with a simple and agile spatial approach, has an amusing wardrobe and recovers the essence of the tale that makes children as well as adults laugh and dream, without abandoning the refinement of a delightful score in which ballet also takes on major importance.
In Spanish with subtitles in Basque and Spanish.
