FILIP FILIPOVI膯

Croatian tenor Filip Filipovi膰 won Second Prize at the prestigious Hans Gabor Belvedere International Singing Competition (2023) and was named Young Musician of the Year by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. He is currently a member of the ensemble at the Croatian National Opera in Zagreb, where he has sung roles such as Ismaele (Nabucco), Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Alfredo Germont (La traviata) and the Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto).

Trained at the Zagreb Academy of Music, he received the Rector鈥檚 Prize for his performance in Massenet鈥檚 Cendrillon. He was a resident artist at Belgium鈥檚 Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel and has won numerous awards, including First Prize at the Lav Mirski International Competition (Osijek) and the Vera Kova膷 Vitkai Competition (Novi Sad), as well as the Ferdo Livadi膰 Prize for Best Artistic Personality at the Samobor Music Festival.

In concert he has collaborated with the Croatian Radiotelevision Orchestra and Choir in works such as Rossini鈥檚 Petite messe solennelle and Stabat Mater, and Verdi鈥檚 Requiem conducted by Pl谩cido Domingo. He has appeared at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival and with the Zagreb Philharmonic in Beethoven鈥檚 Ninth Symphony. His repertoire also includes Tamino, Ferrando, Ruggero, and symphonic-choral works such as Missa solemnis.
