MEZZOSOPRANO

A versatile mezzo-soprano with a wide-ranging operatic and symphonic repertoire, in recent seasons she has appeared as Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Siebel (Faust), Flora and Annina (La traviata), Carmen (Carmen), Petra (La Regenta), Mamma Lucia (Cavalleria rusticana), Alisa (Lucia di Lammermoor), Lola (Cavalleria rusticana), Mercedes (Carmen) and Luisa Fernanda (Luisa Fernanda). She has sung in theatres such as Teatro Real, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Ópera de Oviedo, ABAO, Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, Teatre Principal de Palma, Teatro de la Zarzuela, Teatro Amazonas in Manaus (Brazil), and the Festival de Carcassonne.

She has shared the stage with some of today’s finest singers, including Elina Garanča, Michael Fabiano, Nadine Sierra and Javier Camarena. Her performances have been highly acclaimed by critics for both her vocal quality and dramatic presence, enhanced by her training as an actress.

Among her distinctions are First Prize at the Concorso Elsa Respighi in Verona (2015), Second Prize at the Concurs de Les Corts in Barcelona (2019), the Special Jury Prize at the Concours de chant Canari in France (2017), the São Paulo Opera Prize at the International Opera Competition of Tenerife (2017), the Best Zarzuela Performer Award at the Concurso Ciudad de Logroño (2016), and a scholarship from the International Opera Awards Foundation.

Her forthcoming engagements include Aurora Beltrán in Doña Francisquita at the Auditorio Manuel de Falla, and Mercedes (Carmen) at the Teatro de la Maestranza.
