In addition to the iconic Guggenheim Museum, the city offers the Paseo de Abandoibarra promenade, the Isozaki Towers or the Iberdrola Tower, Metro Bilbao, the  Diputación Foral Palace, the Azkuna Zentroa, the Basílica de Begoña, Santiago Cathedral  or San Mames stadium, amongst other remarkable sights.

The tour of the Nervion estuary and its bridges takes from the Old QuarterLa Ribera Market, the Arriaga Theatre, the City Hall, the University of Deusto, the Fine Arts Museum, Euskalduna Bilbao, the Maritime Museum, Sestao Blast Furnace to Bizkaia Bridge, a World Heritage Site.

Moving around Bilbao by public transport

Moving around Bilbao is easy with a Barik Card or a Bilbao Bizkaia Card. They can be purchased at Tourist Offices or reserved online.

By underground: It enables travelling all around the city, visiting other towns such as Santurtzi or Portugalete or going to the beaches of Sopela and Plentzia.

By tram: The Bolueta-La Casilla route is a journey along Abandoibarra, with stops outside the Arriaga, the Guggenheim or San Mames.

By bus: There are multiple lines that connect all the most interesting spots in the city.

By bike: There is a municipal automatic bike loan service.

By boat: You can discover Bilbao by boat following the course of the estuary with companies that provide this service.

Artxanda Funicular: It goes up Mount Artxanda from Campo Volantín to the best viewpoint of Bilbao.
