Yolanda Auyanet

Soprano

Soprano Yolanda Auyanet has established herself in Europe as one of the leading interpreters of bel canto repertoire, acclaimed in roles such as Norma and Donizetti’s Tudor queens. In recent years she has also triumphed in major Verdian and Puccinian roles, including Tosca — premiered in Seville in 2024 and revived in 2025 at the Rome Opera — and Abigaille, debuted at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse.

Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, she trained at the conservatory in her hometown and later at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona. After winning several international competitions, she built a strong international career with appearances at Teatro Real (where she has sung Maria Stuarda, Mimì, Liù, Vitellia), Semperoper Dresden (Norma), Arena di Verona (Micaëla), Teatro Regio di Parma (Anna Bolena), Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Elisabetta, Leonora), and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Donna Anna), among others.

Her recent engagements include Giovanna d’Arco in Tenerife, Maria Stuarda at Teatro Real and Copenhagen Opera, Abigaille in Toulouse, Elisabetta in Roberto Devereux in Las Palmas and Palermo, and Tosca in Rome.
