Helena Cordero

Helena Cordero is an architect and set designer based in Madrid. Her professional career spans interior design, project management and opera set design.

She graduated in Architecture from the Seville School of Architecture and completed part of her studies at the University of Florence. She began her professional career at architectural practices in London, gaining extensive international experience before continuing her work in Spain. There, she has specialised primarily in commercial spaces, leading project teams and overseeing the coordination of construction works through to completion.

Her career in opera began with Don Pasquale (2025) and continues with Il barbiere di Siviglia (2026). In her work as a set designer, she draws on her experience in spatial design and the technical development of projects to create designs that serve the dramatic action. Her upcoming projects include La traviata, scheduled for 2027.
