Irene de Juan Bernabéu
Musicologist and pianist
Biography: Musicologist and pianist with a renowned career in the field of musical dissemination, thanks to her work at Radio Clásica (RTVE) and for institutions such as the National Orchestra and Choir of Spain and the Juan March Foundation. The operatic genre is one of the areas in which she has specialized, thanks to programs such as Viaje al centro de la operar (Journey to the Center of Opera) and Capriccio on Radio Clásica and to teaching training courses, since 2021, at the Teatro Real in Madrid. She is a professor of the Degree in Musicology at the Alfonso X El Sabio University, an active pianist dedicated to the commented concert format, and author of the book on music and words, Cantar el infinito (Singing the Infinite).
