Pablo L. Rodríguez.
Biography: He holds a PhD in Art History and Musicology from the University of Zaragoza. He is a professor in the Department of Human Sciences at the University of La Rioja, where he teaches performance, dramaturgy, and discology in the Master’s Degree in Musicology. He has published articles and monographs in various specialized journals and publishing houses, and has contributed to the revised editions of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians and the Oxford Companion to Music. In addition to his teaching and research, he is active as a music critic and popularizer. He writes reviews and opinion pieces on classical music for the newspaper El País and a column on recordings for the magazine Scherzo, where he also publishes the blog “Canon alla rovescia.”
