Viktor Antipenko has developed a distinguished international career in Italian, French, Russian and German repertoire, with a particular focus on major lyric-spinto and dramatic roles. His recent and forthcoming engagements include Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly at the Metropolitan Opera and Lyric Opera of Kansas City; Turiddu in Cavalleria rusticana at Theater Dortmund; Luigi in Il tabarro at Sydney Opera House and Scottish Opera; Canio in Pagliacci at Staatstheater Hannover; Lensky in Eugene Onegin at the Metropolitan Opera and the New National Theatre Tokyo; Siegmund in Die Walküre at Theater Dortmund, Atlanta Opera, Pacific Opera Victoria and with the San Diego Symphony; Radamès in Aida and Manrico in Il trovatore at the Israeli Opera; the title role in Samson et Dalila at Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck; and Don José in Carmen at Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Previous appearances include Don José and Erik in Der fliegende Holländer at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow; Lohengrin at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo and Opéra de Rouen Normandie; Tsarevich Gvidon in The Golden Cockerel at Dallas Opera and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw; Andrei in Mazeppa and Pinkerton at Ópera de Oviedo; Dmitri in Boris Godunov, Hermann in Pique Dame and Florestan in Fidelio.
