He studied at the Centro Superior de M\u00fasica del Pa\u00eds Vasco and continues to perfect his technique with his current teacher Elena Barb\u00e9. He has also taken masterclasses with figures such as Alberto Zedda, Ernesto Palacio and Juan Diego Fl\u00f3rez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He made his operatic debut in 2016 at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro as Belfiore (<em>Il viaggio a Reims<\/em>), marking the start of a rapidly ascending international career. Since then he has sung at venues including Teatro Real, Wiener Staatsoper, Op\u00e9ra National de Paris, Teatro Col\u00f3n, Bayerische Staatsoper, Metropolitan Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu and ABAO Bilbao Opera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019 he won both First Prize and the Zarzuela Prize at Operalia, and has since received the International Opera Award, the \u00d3pera XXI Prize and Spain\u2019s El Ojo Cr\u00edtico Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 2024\u201325 season he made his debut as Alfredo (<em>La traviata<\/em>) at Teatro Real and \u00d3pera de Las Palmas, and returned to the Bayerische Staatsoper (<em>Lucia di Lammermoor<\/em>, <em>La fille du r\u00e9giment<\/em>), the Wiener Staatsoper (<em>L\u2019elisir d\u2019amore<\/em>) and the Liceu (<em>La sonnambula<\/em>), consolidating his reputation as one of today\u2019s most sought-after tenors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2469,"template":"","class_list":["post-3068","artist","type-artist","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
