SYNOPSIS
Hirira is a musical adaptation by Josu Elberdin for piano, clarinet, violin, percussion, choir and solo singers inspired by Paul Hindemith鈥檚 work Wir bauen eine Stadt.
An opera created by the children of the Easo Choir in which, through creative singing and dancing and accompanied by a versatile and playful stage design, they show us the intricacies of an imaginary city that they are building freely. Their participation has been a key element in the entire creation process and in all the aspects of the opera (stage design, music, texts, playwriting, wardrobe...) and their vision, values and ideas with regard to what their ideal city would be like have guided and inspired the entire project.
Hirira is a show that invites us to think of the places we inhabit.
In Basque with subtitles in Spanish and Basque.
