Malgorzata Pawlowska *

Polish soprano Malgorzata Pawlowska studied singing at the Vocal Faculty of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, in Ryszard Cieśla’s class, and furthered her training in masterclasses with Robert Holzer, Andrzej Dobber and Violeta Urmana. While still a student, she made her debut as the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro at Warsaw Chamber Opera with the Filharmonia Świętokrzyska, and as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at Nieborów Opera. After completing her studies, she made successful debuts as Tatiana in Eugene Onegin at Teatr Wielki in Warsaw and as Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at the Jan Kiepura Festival in Krynica-Zdrój. From 2020 to 2025 she was a member of Theater Plauen-Zwickau, where her roles included Ariadne, Rusalka, Manon Lescaut, Agathe and Rosalinde, and in 2025 she sang Salome there for the first time. In the 2025/26 season she made her debut at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile with Salome and at Košice National Opera as Tosca. She has also sung Suor Angelica at Staatstheater Oldenburg and covered Ghita in Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg at Ópera de Tenerife. Her awards include prizes at the Da Capo, Zinka Milanov, Ada Sari and Viva Calisia competitions, among others in Poland and Croatia.
