Olga Revuelta

Soprano

Born in Bilbao, Olga Revuelta has developed a wide-ranging career as a soloist in opera and concert repertoire. She has performed at the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, La Folle Journée in Tokyo, the Éclats de Voix Festival in Auch and in Ecos by La Fura dels Baus. At the Teatro Principal in Burgos she appeared in Manuel de Falla’s La vida breve, conducted by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos with the Dresdner Philharmonie. Her work at the Teatro Arriaga includes Gorka Sierra’s Sorginpunky, Süssmayr’s Das Namenfest, Britten’s Noye’s Fludde and Poulenc’s Les Mamelles de Tirésias. In 2018 she took part in the Neguko Bidaia series with a Schubert monographic programme and appeared in Bach’s St John Passion, staged by Calixto Bieito. She has also sung at official events for Bilbao City Council, the Basque Parliament and the General Assemblies of Bizkaia. For Naxos, she took part in a recording of Turandot with the Málaga Symphony Orchestra. At ABAO Bilbao Opera she has appeared in Suor Angelica and Adriana Lecouvreur, in which she sang Jouvenot.
